At the beginning of each new year, people all around me in the photography world are usually buzzing with new projects to do. The most popular project is the 365 project. Basically, you commit to taking a photo everyday for a year. I don’t even bother trying to attempt that, because I know myself. I would start off with a bang, then fizzle out sometime in March. I don’t like feeling like a failure, nor becoming a slave to something I love, so I avoid doing that project. Last year I saw a few photographers take a spin on this and decide to do a 52 Project. One photo a week. I can do this! I’m starting this week and going to try to share with you what I come up with. For this week, I wanted to get a photo of all three of my kids, but that didn’t happen. I snagged my oldest and had her try on the new hat I made her. I’m pretty proud of them both (the hat and the girl). So for week one, here you go! Be on the lookout for more in the future.
