So happy to see this sweetie again! I can’t believe how much she’s grown. She did much better for her session yesterday than she did for her birthday party, poor baby was not feeling well from her immunizations on that day. So glad she bounced back for her photos.

Sweet little man has a mind of his own and definitely showed me who was boss on Friday when we had his session. I was able to win him over for some of the session, but he definitely made his wants known. It is so cute to see these sweet tiny newborns with little personalities already. Loved the sneak peak of Wyatt. He is truly a beautiful baby. The picture in the cowboy hat was my favorite – so appropriate for little “Wyatt.” By the way, his title “Little Boss” leads me to believe that Wyatt may now be “in charge” at the Blessing household. This beautiful baby girl surprised us all this morning. She had a rough night last night, so we expected her to be tired and just sleep, but she had other things in plan. She stayed wide eyed for a while starting her session. Thankfully she didn’t stay up for the entire time. A full belly and some cuddles made her sweet eyelids heavy and her squirming to stop. I love seeing babies come back to me as they grow. These sweet babies are almost a year old and seem to be just as different as can be. Little Miss came in with a bang. She was off exploring as soon as she was put down. She shared her voice with super loud screams of glee and didn’t sit still. Little man cuddled with his mommy sat and explored the things around him, but was content to just be. He was a little leery of me with my big camera, but warmed right up with some silly antics behind the camera. I love how their little personalities are developing. Could this mom-to-be be any prettier? She is carrying a teeny basketball belly and that’s it. Oh how envious we all are. It was great to meet this sweet mom and dad-to-be this evening. They traveled from a bit away to get their photos done which makes me so happy. Just a few years ago, I wouldn’t do any maternity photos, now I embrace them. I have so much fun with these excited parents. I can’t wait to hear about when their little one makes his/her debut!

I am up for a good challenge every once in a while. This morning when I dragged myself out of bed, the idea of facing two busy one year olds and a sweet 4 week old baby didn’t seem like such a good idea. Thankfully, I knew that their mom and dad are reasonable people and don’t expect miracles from me. I do the best I can. Well… weren’t we all blown away when both of those sweet one year olds, and their new baby, did such a fantastic job? We got this first shot without much fuss at all! Children can be very unpredictable (just ask this sweet mother about her youngest’s birth story- which includes giving birth in the hospital’s elevator), thankfully for me, these sweeties were unpredictable in a great way.

Just thinking about these precious children brings tears to my eyes, so seeing these photos had me crying up a storm! Our beautiful Tr. and adorable Th., so gently snuggled up to their sweet baby sister… oh dear, crying again. You have an amazing knack of catching the essence of their very souls.
